In celebration of Asian Pacific American Heritage MonthWe welcome music professor Ms. Yiming Li, from the Guqin Society International, for a talk and performance of guqin music.
The guqin is China's oldest stringed musical instrument with a history of more than 3000 years. In 2003, guqin music was proclaimed as one of the Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.
The program will be in English and Chinese.
