In celebration of Chinese New Year, come join us for the annual English, Chinese and Vietnamese Riddle Contest with prizes on 3/2 (Sat) at 2 pm!

Closing Early on Chinese New Year’s Eve

In Observance of Chinese New Year’s Eve, the Chinatown/Him Mark Lai Branch Library will close at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 9, 2013.  The nearest branch, North Beach Branch, is opened until 6:00 p.m.  It is located at 2000 Mason St.(at Columbus) and can be reached at (415) 355-5626.

Please note that the Chinatown Branch and all other San Francisco Public Libraries will be closed on Tuesday, Jan. 1st, and will close early on Monday, December 31st at 5 pm. We will resume our regular opening hours on Wednesday, Jan. 2nd.
