Origami Swans Recap!

Hello faithful readers! On Saturday we all got together and learned how to make those beautiful origami swans. Our wonderful teacher, Irene, was very patient and easy to understand! We are very glad she agreed to teach us this wonderful craft.

Certainly the paper pieces were easy to fold, but completing the entire swan took a lot of hard work and concentration! Luckily our crafters are not lacking in either of these qualities.

Unfortunately time proved too short despite our best efforts and we didn't get to finish the craft. We'll be attempting this again in part two of the class. Please keep your eyes out for the date and time of the next class!

Meanwhile, keep crafting, crafters!

Now certain folders and collections are available for online viewing via the photo-hosting website Flickr for everyone around the world. You can browse the Angel Island Collection or peer into the Crimes in Chinatown folder. There's really a lot to see! We are constantly scanning and uploading files into our digital collection, so please check back to see what's new.
