Join us when author John Jung discusses his book Sweet and Sour - a social history of Chinese family restaurants. Bay Area poet Nellie Wong will perform some of her poems based on her experiences growing up in an Oakland Chinese family restaurant.
This program will be in English only. Book signing follows the program.
This program is part of a series of programs related to the San Francisco Eats exhibit. Another program in this series will be an author event with Jennifer 8. Lee who will talk about her book The Fortune Cookie Chronicles on February 19.
