Join us for a book talk with author Angie Chau. She will talk about and read from her short story collection Quiet As They Come which chronicles the lives of an extended Vietnamese boat family newly arrived in California. Set in San Francisco from the 1980s to the present day, it is a beautiful and at time brutal portrait of a people caught between two cultures.This program will be in English only. Book signing follows the program.
