Chinatown Branch is hosting another one of our popular author events on Saturday, October 17, 2:30-4pm.
Bay Area author Shawna Yang Ryan will talk about her novel Water Ghosts, the mesmerizing story of a community of Chinese immigrants in Locke, a small California town, in 1928. Water Ghosts chronicles separation and betrayal, longing and loneliness, and what happens when a Chinese ghost story begins to come true.
Book signing will follow the program. Both book and audio book are available at the library.
Please join us for this free event!
