Please join us on August 1st for a reading and book signing with author Yuan-tsung Chen.Spanning more than 150 years while masterfully blending history and biography, Return to the Middle Kingdom: One Family, Three Revolutionaries, and the Birth of Modern China is a compelling saga with the epic sweep and gripping power of a historical novel. Chronicling the lives of her late husband, his father and grandfather, Yuan-tsung Chen reveals what it was like to live through – and participate in – the tumultuous events of China’s recent history.
The program will be in English and Mandarin. Book signing follows the program. Light refreshments will be served.
