Andrew Lam will talk about and read from his essay collection East Eats West: Writing in Two Hemispheres. Part memoir, part meditation and part cultural anthropology, these essays explore the Vietnamese Diaspora and how East and West are changing each other. From cuisine to self-esteem, Lam shines new light on the bridges and crossroads where two hemispheres meld into one
worldwide "immigrant nation" and the cultural gaps that remain.
