Chinatown Riddle Contest, Saturday, February 26, 2-4pm

In celebration of Chinese New Year Chinatown Branch hosts its annual riddle contest with prizes! Riddles will be in English, Chinese and Vietnamese and are suitable for all adults, teens and children.

Join us on Saturday, February 26, 2011 from 2-4pm in the Community Room!

The Fortune Cookie Chronicles: Adventures in the World of Chinese Food - An author event with Jennifer 8. Lee on Saturday, February 19, 2:30-4pm

Who invented chop suey? Where do fortune cookies come from? New York Times reporter Jennifer 8. Lee writes about this and more in her book The Fortune Cookie Chronicles - a deliciously entertaining history of the Chinese food industry in the United States.

The Fortune Cookie Chronicles is our On the Same Page book club selection for January and February.

This program will be in English only. Book signing will follow the program.
