SeniorNet: An Introductory Computer Workshop for Seniors

The Chinatown/Him Mark Lai Branch Library invites adults over the age of 60 to join a beginners computer class on Saturdays, Feb 11th  & 25th from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 pm.  You'll learn basic computer skills and how to navigate the Internet and set up email account.  Registration is required.  Limit to 12 participants. Instruction will be conducted in Cantonese/Mandarin.   If you're interested, please register in person at Chinatown/Him Mark Lai Branch Library, beginning Jan 28th (Sat) at 10:00 am.

耆英電腦俱樂部 - 專為長者而設的基礎電腦班

華埠/麥禮謙市立圖書館歡迎60歲以上人仕參加專為長者而設的基礎電腦班。除基本電腦常識外, 我們也會學習如何使用互聯網及電郵。電腦班將於年2月11日及2月25日 (星期六) 上午10:30 至下午12:30舉行, 以粵語/國語教授。只限12人, 額滿即止。如有興趣, 請親臨華埠/麥禮謙市立圖書館報名。

Library closed on Jan. 1-2

Please note that the Chinatown Branch and all other San Francisco Public Libraries will be closed from Sunday, January 1 until Monday, January 2 for New Year.  And the library will be closing early on December 31 at 5 pm.  We will resume our regular opening hours on Tuesday, January 3.

Chinatown/Him Mark Lai Branch Library Rededication

The rededication of the Chinatown/Him Mark Lai Branch Library will be held on Saturday, December 10, 12-2pm (Community Meeting Room).  The library was renamed to honor the late Chinese American historian Him Mark Lai.

Program includes lion dancing, unveiling of new library plaques, book launch for Him Mark Lai's autobiography, film and refreshments.  Program will be presented in English and Cantonese.
