Children's programs in July

Our annual Summer Reading programming continues until the end of the month.  Join us for fun and entertaining programs this month and sign up for the Summer Reading if you haven't already.

Baby Story Time
Rhymes, songs and books for infants to 18 months and their caregivers.

Family Story Time
Stories, songs and more for children of all ages and their families.

Heather Magic
A hilarious and fun filled magic show with Heather Rogers.

Jimbo the Clown
Join a magic, game songs and juggling performance by Jim the Clown.

Magic Dan
Ride with Magic Dan for a fun and captivating magic journey.

Tai Chi for Beginners with Liping Julia Zhu L.Ac., Saturday, June 25, 2:30-4pm

Liping Julia Zhu L.Ac., a Qigong instructor at the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and founder of Qi Dragon Healing Center, will teach basic elements of Tai Chi including footwork, Qi cultivation exercises and basic moves.  Please wear loose and comfortable clothing and exercise shoes.  All levels are welcome.

Instruction will be in English and Mandarin.

Power Your Mind: READ!

This year's Summer Read is one program for all ages! Join online or at the library, read and win prizes!

SIGN UP beginning June 1st at any neighborhood San Francisco Public Library or bookmobile or online from home by visiting sfpl.org. Sign up your whole family or group but please note that each person may only sign up once.

VISIT YOUR LIBRARY often to check out books and other materials and to attend the many programs and events for all ages.

READ! Record the time you spend reading on your online record or at your library. There will be one grand prize for children who read for 10 hours; teens who read for 30 hours and adults who read for 40 hours. And everybody who reads for 40 hours from June 1 to July 31 has a chance to enter our citywide Super Raffle!
