Cantonese Computer Classes for Seniors and Adults

The new session for our Mouse and Keyboarding class in Cantonese will be held 5/4 (Sat) at 10:15 am.  Sign-up begins 4/20 (Sat).  The Internet 101 class will be held 5/11 (Sat) at 10:15 am which registration begins 4/27 (Sat).    Adults aged 50 or above are especially welcome to join.  Class size limit of 10.  Pre-registration in person is required.  Pls call 355-2888 for details.

耆英電腦班: 互聯網101


華埠圖書館將於9月15日(星期六) 上午10:30 至下午12:30舉辦專為長者而設的電腦班, 教授如何使用互聯網搜尋資料. 粵語講解. 歡迎60歲或以上已懂如何使用鍵盤及滑鼠的長者參加. 9月1日(星期六)上午10時起接受報名.  名額有限, 額滿即止. 必需親臨華埠圖書館報名.  詳情請致電355-2888查詢.

Learn how to use the internet to access a world of information.  Come join us on May 12th, 2012 (Sat) from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.  The class will be taught in Mandarin.  Seniors over the age of 60 who already know how to use the mouse and keyboard are welcome to register.  Registration begins 10:00 a.m. on April 28th (Sat).  Limited to 12 participants.  Must register in person.  For more information, please call 355-2888.

Aging & Disability Resource Center (ADRC) Outstation at Chinatown Branch

ADRC has a new outstation at Chinatown Branch in the heart of Chinatown, offering free information and assistance services for seniors and people with disabilities in English and Chinese.

ADRC will be in the downstairs lobby of Chinatown Branch on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 1:30-4:30pm.

Services provided include:
  • Information, assistance and referral
  • Benefits, housing resources, Medicare Savings Program, ExtraHelp
  • Translation services and assistance with filling out forms
  • Savings on utility bills and other services

ADRC is funded by the San Francisco Department of Aging and Adult Services. ADRC is a program of the Canon Kip Senior Center of the Episcopal Community.
