The Library closes at 5:00 p.m. December 24 and will be closed December 25 Christmas Day; and the library will close at 5:00 p.m. December 31 and will be closed January 1 New Year's Day.

Closing Early on Chinese New Year’s Eve

In Observance of Chinese New Year’s Eve, the Chinatown/Him Mark Lai Branch Library will close at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 9, 2013.  The nearest branch, North Beach Branch, is opened until 6:00 p.m.  It is located at 2000 Mason St.(at Columbus) and can be reached at (415) 355-5626.
