Song of the Silk Road：a book talk and calligraphy demonstration by author Mingmei Yip on Nov. 19, 2011

On Saturday, November 19, 2011 (2:30-4 p.m.), author, artist and musician Mingmei Yip will discuss her latest book Song of the Silk Road.  After talking about her novel, Mingmei will demonstrate calligraphy based on a Buddhist sutra and talisman discovered on the Silk Road. A book sale and signing will follow the performance.  This program will be in English only.
