Library Resources Workshop
Come in and learn how to use the library catalog, request and renew library materials, download ebooks and use Mango Languages to learn English on Thursday, August 23 at 10 am . Basic computer skills would be helpful. This workshop will be conducted in Chinese. Registration is not required.

人道主義傑出女性得獎者莫金銀將於7月28日下午3-4:30時蒞臨華埠圖書館, 討論她的最新著作《竹女人: 加州明光孤兒院的故事》。在1935年, 兩歲的莫金銀被遺棄在位於加州Los Gatos的明光孤兒院 。 作者將為大家分享女孩在明光孤兒院成長的故事, 以及她們之間的愛和友誼如何帶領她們面對生命中的挑戰 。此項目將以英語進行，不設翻譯。會後將有新書簽售 。 Bamboo Women: Stories from Ming Quong, a Chinese Orphanage in California
Women of Distinction for Humanitarianism winner Nona Mock Wyman will discuss her latest book Bamboo Women: Stories from Ming Quong, a Chinese Orphanage in California on Saturday, July 28 from 3:00-4:30 pm. In 1935, at the age of two, Nona was abandoned at the Ming Quong orphanage in Los Gatos, California. Nona will share stories of coming-of-age from the women of Ming Quong and how their bonds of love and friendship carried them through life’s challenges. This program will be conducted in English.Fold a Lotus Flower!
